Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1468623 Size: SH
  1. Open the sunshade to the full rearward position.

    2. Important: Do NOT fully remove the actuator side covers (1). The sunroof window actuator cover conceals the window actuator screws. Use care when lifting up on the corners of the sunroof window actuator side covers to expose the screws.

  2. Cycle the sunroof window to the fully closed position.
  3. From inside the vehicle, remove only the front screws from the left and right sides of the sunroof window actuator.
  4. Cycle the rear sunroof window to the fully vent position.

    Important: The sunroof window rear actuator cover conceals the window actuator screws. Use care when lifting up on the corners of the sunroof window actuator side covers to expose the screws.

  5. From outside the vehicle, remove the rear screws from the left and right sides of the sunroof window actuator.

    6. Important: Use care NOT to scratch the roof surface or the sunroof window.

  6. Remove the sunroof window from the sunroof opening.
  7. Remove the sunroof window actuator rear covers from the left and right sides of the window. Refer to Sunroof Actuator Cover Replacement - 2-3-4 .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the sunroof window to the actuator arms . Adjusted to it down position on the actuator is the best position to start.

    2. Object Number: 1468623 Size: SH

    Important: Do NOT tighten the sunroof window actuator screws all the way down before inspecting the alignment of the sunroof window. Maintain a 4.00 mm (0.16 in) gap clearance around the sunroof window edges.

  2. From outside the vehicle, install only the rear sunroof windows actuator screws to the left and right sides. Do NOT tighten the screws fully.
  3. Close the sunroof window from the vent position to the fully closed position.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. From inside the vehicle, install the front screws to the left and right sides of the sunroof window actuator.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  5. Adjust the rear sunroof window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment or Sunroof Window Alignment .
  6. Install the sunroof window actuator rear covers to the left and right sides of the window. Refer to Sunroof Actuator Cover Replacement - 2-3-4 .
  7. Close the sunshade.
  8. Cycle the sunroof window to ensure proper operation and fit.
