Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 541322 Size: SH

    Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.

    Caution: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the door control module.
  4. Remove the window inner belt molding. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Remove the window outer belt molding. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  6. Reconnect power to the window.
  7. Lower the window regulator in order to access the window clamps through the access hole.

  8. Depress the tabs on the window clamp (2) in order to release the window from the regulator.

    9. Object Number: 541328 Size: SH
  9. Remove the window by tilting the window forward then pulling the window up and out of the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 541328 Size: SH

    Important: The window regulator should be at least half way down before installing the window.

  1. Install the window down into the door.
    2. 1.1. Tilt the front edge of the window downward.
    1.2. Locate the front of the window into the window channel.
    1.3. Align the rear of the window into the channel.
    1.4. Rotate the rear of the window back to the level position.
    1.5. Slide the window down to the window clamps.

  2. Locate the window (1) into the 2 window regulator to window clamps (2).
  3. Install the window outer belt molding. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  4. Install the window inner belt molding. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Adjust the window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Adjustment .
  6. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
