Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 813395  Size: SH

    Notice: To avoid paint damage, protect the area surrounding the part which you are removing or installing.

  1. Apply masking tape to the door frame and applique.
  2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Position the window in the full down position.
  5. Remove the window channel bolt (2).
  6. Remove the window channel from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the window channel (1) in the door.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the window run channel bolts (2).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to  10N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Inspect the window for proper operation.
  6. Remove the masking tape from the frame and applique.
  7. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  8. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
