Power Window Inoperative - Right Side Front 4-Door

Does the right front window operate from the left front window switch?

--

  1. Disconnect the right front window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Use a test light in order to backprobe between the right front window switch harness connector terminal F and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Replace the right front window switch. Refer to Front Door Switch Replacement .

Did you complete the repair and test the system?

Repair the poor connection or the open in circuit 1307 between S307 and the right front windows switch harness connector terminal F.

  1. Disconnect the right front window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Use a test light in order to backprobe between the right front window switch harness connector terminal D and H.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the left front window switch. Refer to Front Door Switch Replacement .

Did you complete the repair and test the system?

  1. Leave the test light at the same location.
  2. Observe the test light and press the left front window switch to the Up and the DOWN position.

Does the test light with the switch in both positions?

Go to Step 9

  1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
  2. Reconnect the right front window switch.
  3. Disconnect the right front window regulator motor.
  4. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  5. Use a test light in order to backprobe the right front window regulator motor harness connector between terminal A and terminal B.

Does the test lamp light?

  2. Inspect the system.

  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Use a test light in order to backprobe between the right front window switch harness connector terminal D and H.

Does the test light illuminate?

  1. Leave the test light connected in the same position.
  2. Observe the test light while pressing the left front window switch to the UP position and the DOWN position.

Does the test light with the switch in both positions?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Reconnect the right front window switch.
  3. Disconnect the right front window regulator motor.
  4. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  5. Use a test light in order to backprobe the right front window regulator motor harness connector between terminal A and terminal B.

Does the test light illuminate?
