Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the I/P outer trim covers. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  4. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  5. Remove the cluster trim bezel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
  6. Remove the cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
  7. Remove the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Remove the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement .
  9. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  10. Remove the ignition switch wire harness connectors. Refer to Ignition and Start Switch Replacement .
  11. Remove the park lock cable at the ignition switch. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement .
  12. Remove the accessory switch assembly. Refer to Accessory Switch Replacement .

  13. Remove the I/P trim pad screws.

    14. Object Number: 1207564 Size: SH
  14. Remove the I/P pad.
  15. Remove the ignition switch from the I/P pad. Refer to Ignition and Start Switch Replacement .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the ignition switch from the I/P pad. Refer to Ignition and Start Switch Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1207564 Size: SH
  2. Install the I/P pad.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1207591 Size: SH
  3. Tighten the I/P trim pad screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the park lock cable at the ignition switch. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement .
  5. Install the ignition switch wire harness connectors. Refer to Ignition and Start Switch Replacement .
  6. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  7. Install the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement .
  8. Install the accessory switch assembly. Refer to Accessory Switch Replacement .
  9. Install the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
  11. Install the cluster trim bezel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
  12. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  13. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  14. Install the I/P outer trim covers. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
  15. Install the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
