Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2007 🢒 G6 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC - Automatic 🢒 Mode Valve Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT).
  2. Remove the left closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  3. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1680189 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the mode actuator electrical connector.
  5. Remove the mode actuator retaining screws.
  6. Remove the mode actuator retaining.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1680189 Size: SH
  1. Install the mode actuator.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the mode actuator retaining screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  3. Connect the mode actuator electrical connector.
  4. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  5. Install the left closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  6. Install the fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT).
  7. Calibrate the actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
