Removal Procedure

  1. Suitably block the drive wheels.

  2. Object Number: 341078  Size: SH
  3. Turn the ignition key to the RUN (4) position.
  4. Place the shift lever in the NEUTRAL position.
  5. Remove the console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement .

  6. Object Number: 517344  Size: SH
  7. Raise the park brake handle as far as possible.
  8. If the park brake handle cannot be pulled up far enough to remove the console, perform the following steps:

    • Release the park brake handle.
    • Hold the adjuster pawl disengaged.
    • The park brake handle can be pulled up further.

  9. Remove the floor console bolts (1).
  10. Disconnect the power outlet electrical connector.
  11. Remove the floor console (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the floor console (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the power outlet electrical connector.
  3. Release the park brake handle.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the floor console bolts (1).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  7. Install the console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement .
  8. Place the shift lever in the PARK position.
  9. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position (2).
