  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  2. Place the selector switch in the VENT position.
  3. Place the blower switch in position 1 (low).
  4. Probe with a test lamp between the blower resistor connector terminal C and ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Probe with a test lamp between the blower motor relay connector terminal B2 and ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Test for and repair a poor connection at the blower resistor. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the blower resistor. Refer to Blower Motor Resistor Replacement .

Test for and repair a poor connection at the blower motor relay. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the blower motor relay. Refer to Blower Motor Relay Replacement .

Repair a poor connection or an open in the blower resistor control circuit of the blower motor relay between the blower resistor and the blower motor relay. Refer to Connector Repairs or Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
