Preliminary Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
2. Disconnect the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement.
3. Disconnect the engine coolant air bleed hose. Refer to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement.

Engine Coolant Outlet Pipe Fastener (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m(89 lb in)

Procedure

1. Disconnect any electrical connectors.
2. Replace the O-ring seal.
3. After repairs, fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
4. After repairs, inspect the cooling system for leaks.
