- Set the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Ground the memory seat diagnostic connector.

mode 1 diagnostics. |

- Remove ground from the memory seat diagnostic connector, then
ground the connector again within 5 seconds. (The module beeps twice
in order to acknowledge entrance into the mode 2 diagnostics.
- Operate the seat switch and the mirror switch in all directions.
(The module beeps once for each open or short circuit to a position sensor
or any position sensor discontinuity.)
- Any time a switch is operated and the module beeps, the module
senses a problem with the position sensor.
