Was the Wiper/Washer Diagnostic System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect wiper motor connector C2.
  2. Set the ignition switch to RUN.
  3. Set the wiper switch to HI.
  4. Connect a test light from connector C2, terminal A to ground.

Is the test light on?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 6

Check for a poor connection at wiper motor connector C2.

Is a poor connection present?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Repair the poor connection at wiper motor connector C2.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Wiper/Washer

Replace the wiper motor. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Check for an open in CKT 92.

Is an open circuit present?

Repair the open in CKT 92.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .
