Open the right rear door while observing the interior lamps.

Do the interior lamps turn on when the door is opened?

Go to Courtesy Lamps Inoperative in Doors

1. Use J 36169-A in order to backprobe terminal D of the remote control door lock receiver connector.
2. Close all of the doors. Close the rear deck lid.
3. Once the interior lamps turn off, ground the fused jumper.

Do the interior lamps light?

Go to Step 4

Replace the remote control door lock receiver. Refer to Receiver Replacement .

Repair the open in CKT 194 between the remote control door lock receiver and the left IP wiring harness junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
