Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1863843 Size: SH
  1. Discharge the A/C (Air Conditioning) system, if equipped. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  4. Remove the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement .
  5. Remove the A/C condenser from the radiator. Refer to Condenser Replacement .
  6. Remove the charge air cooler from the radiator.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1863843 Size: SH
  1. Install the charge air cooler to the radiator.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the charge air cooler bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the charge air cooler bolts to 8.5 N·m (75.2 lb in).

  3. Install the A/C condenser to the radiator.
  4. Install the Auxiliary cooling fan to the radiator.
  5. Install the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement.
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8. Recharge the air conditioning system, if equipped. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
