Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the license plate lamp. Refer to Rear License Lamp Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 2009749 Size: SH

    Important: DO NOT pull on the wiring harness (1). Damage to the wiring harness (1) may result.

    Important: Remove the license plate lamp bulb (3) from the license plate lamp bulb holder (2) by grasping the license plate lamp bulb (3) and the license plate lamp bulb holder (2) and pulling in opposite directions.

  3. Remove the license plate lamp bulb (3) from the license plate lamp bulb holder (2).
  4. Discard the license plate lamp bulb (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2009749 Size: SH

    Important: DO NOT pull on the wiring harness (1). Damage to the wiring harness (1) may result.

    Important: Install the NEW license plate bulb (3) to the license plate lamp bulb holder (2) by pushing the NEW license plate bulb (3) into the license plate lamp bulb holder (2).

  1. Install the NEW license plate bulb (3) to the license plate lamp bulb holder (2).
  2. Install the license plate lamp. Refer to Rear License Lamp Replacement .
  3. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
