Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement Aztek

1. Remove the endgate plate. Refer to Rear Floor Rear Trim Plate Replacement .
2. Remove the rear seat belt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
3. Remove the rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Remove the bolts from the rear quarter lower trim panel at the cargo tie down locations.



5. Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel from the inner panel by pulling the panel to release the push-in retainers.
6. Remove the lower trim panel from the vehicle.

1. Align the lower trim panel push-in retainers to the inner panel.

Important: Position the seat belt through the slotted opening between the upper and lower trim panel.

2. Install the lower trim panel by applying pressure on the panel to secure all of the push-in retainer locations.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




3. Install the bolts to the lower trim panel at the cargo tie down locations.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

4. Install the rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
5. Install the rear seat belt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
6. Install the endgate sill plate. Refer to Rear Floor Rear Trim Plate Replacement .

Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement Rendezvous

1. Remove the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the seat belt guide loops from the rear seat and from the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement and to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - No. 2 Rear .
3. Remove the upper trim panels from the rear quarter. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .



4. Remove the bolts which secure the cargo net tie-down loops.
5. Remove the cargo net tie-down loops from the rear quarter trim panel.
6. Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.

1. Install the rear quarter trim panel to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the cargo net tie-down loops to the rear quarter trim panel. Secure the loops with bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

3. Install the upper trim panels. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Install the seat belt guide loops to the rear seat and to the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement and to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - No. 2 Rear .
5. Install the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
