Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 786759 Size: SH
  2. Open the cover from the seat belt guide loop.

    3. Object Number: 786753 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolt from the seat belt guide loop.

    4. Object Number: 786752 Size: SH
  4. Remove the pillar trim panel from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the liftgate door sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Remove the lower anchor bolt from the seat belt.

    7. Object Number: 785351 Size: SH
  7. Remove the bolts from the cargo tie-down locations.
  8. Pull the rear quarter trim panel away from the vehicle.

    9. Object Number: 363681 Size: SH
  9. Remove the bolt (1) that retains the rear seat belt to the body.
  10. Remove the seat belt retractor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 363681 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat belt retractor to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the bolt (1) that retains the rear retractor to the body.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the retractor bolt to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).

  3. Install the quarter trim panel to the vehicle.
  4. Install the bolts to the cargo tie-down locations.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the loop bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Install the lower seat belt anchor bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten anchor bolt to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).

  6. Install the liftgate door sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 786752 Size: SH
  7. Install the pillar trim to the vehicle.
  8. Install the bolt that secures the seat belt guide loop.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).

  9. Close the cover to the seat belt guide loop.

    10. Object Number: 786759 Size: SH
  10. Install the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
