Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 258833  Size: SH
  1. Pull away the sail panel (2) in order to remove the sail panel from the rear shelf panel.
  2. Remove the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the seat belt to floor pan retaining bolt.
  4. Disengage the molding (1) from the sail panel.
  5. Remove the seat belt from the sail panel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Ensure that the seat belt is free of twists.
  2. Insert the seat belt through the sail panel.
  3. Engage the molding (1) to the sail panel.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the seat belt to floor pan retaining bolt.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  7. Install the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  8. Position the sail panel (2) by aligning the clips (3) to the holes.
  9. Push in on the sail panel in order to secure the panel.
