Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 523503 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Rotate the ambient light sensor (1) counterclockwise to release from the IP upper trim pad.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient light sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 523503 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the ambient light sensor.
  2. Install the ambient light sensor (1) to the IP upper trim pad, then rotate clockwise to secure.
  3. Install the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
