Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 648275 Size: SH
  1. Remove the windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.

    2. Important: Remove the instrument panel (IP) upper trim panel slowly. The retainer clips could possibly fall into the IP.

  2. Lift the IP upper trim panel up approximately 51 mm (2 inches). Pull rearward to release IP upper trim panel retainers.
  3. Remove the sun load temperature sensor from the IP upper trim panel.
  4. Remove the IP upper trim panel from the IP.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 648275 Size: SH
  1. Position the instrument panel (IP) upper trim panel to the IP.
  2. Install the sun load temperature sensor to the IP upper trim panel.
  3. Align the IP upper trim panel locating pins and retainers to the slots in the IP.
  4. Press down and forward on the IP upper trim panel until fully seated.
  5. Install the windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
