Circuit/System Description

TPMS Receiver Module receives the vehicle speed signal from the transmission control module (TCM) and also receives the information of the tire inflation pressure from the transmitters and the transmitter’s condition. With this information, the TPMS decides if warning lamp indication is needed or not.

Conditions for Running the DTC

Vehicle speed is above 32 km/h (20 mph).

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The tire inflation pressure is lower than 179 Kpa (26 psi)

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

TPMS warning lamp blinks for 75 seconds.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

The conditions that set the DTC are no longer present, the DTC can be cleared by scan tool.
