Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the front passenger seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.

    3. Object Number: 2014964 Size: SH
  3. Remove the two clips (1).
  4. Disengage the two guides (2) and remove the amplifier cover (3).

    5. Object Number: 2014967 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (3).
  6. Remove the two bolts  (1).
  7. Remove the amplifier (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2014967 Size: SH
  1. Secure the amplifier (2) to the vehicle with the two bolts (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the two bolts to 19 N·m (14 lb ft).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors (3).

  3. Engage the two guides (2) and install the amplifier cover (3).
  4. Install the two clips (1).
  5. Install the front passenger seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
