Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - FWD 🢒 Steering 🢒 Steering Wheel and Column 🢒 Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2032166 Size: SH
  1. Push the right and the left sides of the lower steering column trim cover in order to disengage the 4 claws (1, 2, 3, 4).

    2. Object Number: 2032167 Size: SH
  2. In the hole (1) near the tilt lever, spread the 2 claws (2, 3) in order to disengage the lower cover.

    3. Object Number: 2032174 Size: SH
  3. If necessary, turn the steering wheel in order to access the service holes (1, 2).

    4. Object Number: 2032171 Size: MH
  4. Use a screwdriver in the service holes in order to disengage the 2 claws (1, 2).
  5. Remove the lower cover.

    6. Object Number: 2032175 Size: MH
  6. Disengage the claws (1, 2, 3) and remove the upper steering column trim cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2032643 Size: MH
  1. Engage the claws (1, 2) and install the upper steering column trim cover to the steering column.

    2. Object Number: 2032644 Size: SH
  2. Engage the 2 claws (1, 2) and install the lower steering column trim cover.

    3. Object Number: 2032166 Size: SH
  3. Engage the 4 claws (1, 2, 3, 4).

    4. Object Number: 2032646 Size: SH
  4. Press the area around the claws (1) in order to engage the claws.
