Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 432007 Size: SH
  1. Disable the air bag system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Lower the door opening frame garnish moldings (1, 2) on the front and rear door pinch weld flanges.
  4. Remove the assist handles. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .

  5. Gently pry and remove the windshield side garnish moldings (1).
  6. Remove the sunshades and retainers. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  7. Remove the courtesy and reading lamp/sunroof switch assembly, if equipped. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacementf.
  8. Remove the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement.
  9. Remove the quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .

  10. Lower the front seat back cushions in order to gain clearance to remove the headlining trim finish panel.
  11. Remove the 2 retainers (2) which secure the rear of the headlining trim finish panel.
  12. Lower the headlining trim finish panel (1). Remove the headlining through a rear door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 853427 Size: SH
  1. Install the headlining trim finish panel (1) through a rear door.
  2. Install the headlining panel (1) to the roof panel. Secure the headlining panel with the rear 2 retainers (2).

    3. Object Number: 241992 Size: SH
  3. Install the quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement.
  5. Install the courtesy and reading lamp/sunroof switch assembly, if removed. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement.
  6. Install the sunshades and retainers. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  7. Install the windshield side garnish moldings (1) to the vehicle. Ensure that the plastic retainers are fully engaged.

  8. Install the assist handles. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
  9. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Reposition the door opening frame garnish moldings (1, 2) on all doors to the correct position on the pinch well flange.
  11. Position the front seat back cushions back to the upright position.
  12. Enable the air bag system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
