  1. Turn OFF ignition.
  2. Disconnect the body control module (BCM) connector E61 and the door control receiver connector M12.
  3. Measure the as follows:
  4. • Between connector E61 terminal 16 to connector M12 terminal 2
    • Between connector E61 terminal 16 and body ground
    • Between connector E61 terminal 17 and connector M12 terminal 3
    • Between connector E61 terminal 17 and body ground

Is the resistance measured within the specified values?

E61 terminal 16 to M12 terminal 2 = Below 1 Ohm

E61 terminal 16 to body ground = 10 K ohms or higher

E61 terminal 17 to M12 terminal 3 = Below 1 Ohm

E61 terminal 17 to body ground = 10 K ohms or higher

Go to Step 5

3

Measure the resistance and voltage at the door control receiver connector M12 as follows:

    • Resistance between terminal 1 and body ground
    • Voltage between terminal 5 and body ground

Is the resistance and voltage measured with the specified values?

Resistance = Below 1 Ohm

Voltage = 11 - 14 Volts
