Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the windshield wiper motor. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2010832 Size: SH
  2. Using a flat-bladed tool, disengage the meshing of the inner rod (1) from the crank arm pivot (2).

    3. Object Number: 2010835 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
  4. Remove the bolts (1).
  5. Remove the wiper motor (3) from the wiper motor transmission (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2010835 Size: SH
  1. Install the wiper transmission (4) to the wiper motor (3).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts (1) which secure the wiper transmission (4) to the wiper motor (3) and tighten to 5.4 N·m (48 lb in)..
  3. Connect the electrical connector (2).

    4. Object Number: 2010838 Size: SH
  4. Apply multi purpose grease to the crank arm pivot (1) of the windshield wiper motor assembly.

    5. Object Number: 2010841 Size: SH
  5. Connect the rod of the wiper transmission (1) to the crank arm pivot (2) of the windshield wiper motor.
  6. Install the windshield wiper motor assembly. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement.
