Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2014968 Size: SH
  1. Remove the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement.
  2. Remove the two nuts (1).
  3. Disconnect the vehicle interface unit module electrical connector.
  4. Remove the vehicle interface unit module with bracket (2), from vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2014968 Size: SH
  1. Position the vehicle interface unit module (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install interface unit module retaining nuts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the vehicle interface unit module bolts to 75 N·m (66 lb in).

  3. Connect the vehicle interface unit module electrical connector.
  4. Install the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement.
