The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Due to some software and vehicle coverage concerns the ONSA Tis2web activation option may not be available for certain 2008 vehicles.
Recommendation/Instructions:
When installing a service replacement unit on a 2008 MY vehicle and the Automated OnStar® activation procedure (ONSA) cannot be found, please perform the module set-up procedure supported by the TECH 2 and perform a Blue Button press to complete the vehicle set-up. Correction and updates are in process and vehicle applications will again be added in upcoming releases.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
