J 29113 Harmonic Balancer Installer

1. Apply sealer GM P/N 12346141, (Canadian P/N 10953433) to the keyway of the crankshaft balancer.
2. Place the balancer into position over the key in the crankshaft.
3. Install the J 29113 onto the crankshaft.
4. Pull the balancer into position.
5. Remove the J 29113 from the balancer.
6. Install the crankshaft balancer washer and bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 103 N·m (76 lb ft).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
