Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
  2. Remove the instrument panel trim plate. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the HVAC assembly retaining screws.

    4. Object Number: 591200 Size: SH
  4. Pull the assembly rearward.
  5. Twist the lamp sockets to remove (1).
  6. Pull the bulbs gently to remove from the sockets.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 591200 Size: SH
  1. Install the bulbs to the sockets (1).
  2. Install the HVAC assembly.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the HVAC retaining screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining screws 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the instrument trim panel trim plate. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
