Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 1997 🢒 Sunfire 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 3T40 🢒 Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid and Wiring Harness Disassemble

  1. Use a small flat blade screwdriver in order to disconnect the transmission wire harness assembly (339) from the electrical connector (408).

    2. Object Number: 25494 Size: SH

    Important: Depending upon the model of vehicle, the oil pressure switch (338) may be either the second clutch apply oil pressure switch or the governor oil pressure switch.

  2. Disconnect the wire harness from the oil pressure switch (338).
  3. Disconnect the wire harness clip from the auxiliary control valve body.
  4. If applicable, disconnect the wire harness from the third clutch pressure switch (335).
  5. Remove the bolt (334) from the TCC solenoid valve assembly (333).
  6. Remove the TCC solenoid valve assembly (333).
  7. Remove the harness assembly (339).
  8. Remove the seal (337) from the TCC solenoid (333).
