SUBJECT: SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE SECTION 7A-AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE - ENGINE TO TRANS TORQUE SPECIFICATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989 - 1991 'J' MODELS WITH 3T40

An error exists in the engine to transaxle mounting illustrations. The specification shows 75 N.m (85 ft.lbs.). The correct specification for the stud or bolt is 75 N.m (55 ft.lbs.)
