Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement Hose 1

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the radiator cap.
  2. Start the engine.
  3. Run the engine for 15 minutes.
  4. Stop the engine.

  5. Object Number: 167697  Size: SH
  6. Open the drain plug (3) on the radiator in order to drain the coolant.

  7. Object Number: 167717  Size: SH
  8. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp (2) on the radiator outlet hose #1 (8) at the radiator.
  9. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator outlet hose #1 (8) at the radiator outlet pipe (2).
  10. Remove the radiator outlet hose #1 (8).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 167717  Size: SH
  1. Position a new hose clamp (1) on each end of the new radiator outlet hose #1 (8).
  2. Install the new radiator outlet hose #1 (8) to the outlet pipe (2) and to the radiator.
  3. Position the hose over the outlet pipe and radiator flares.
  4. Secure the hose with the hose clamps (1).
  5. Fill the radiator with an approved coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.

Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement Hose 2

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the radiator cap.
  2. Start the engine. Run the engine for 15 minutes.
  3. Stop the engine.

  4. Object Number: 167697  Size: SH
  5. Open the drain plug (3) on the radiator in order to drain the coolant.

  6. Object Number: 167717  Size: SH
  7. Loosen the two hose clamps (1) on outlet hose #2 (3).
  8. Remove the hose from the radiator outlet pipe (2) and from the coolant intake pipe (5).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 167717  Size: SH
  1. Position a new hose clamp (1) on each end of the radiator outlet hose #2 (3).
  2. Install the new radiator outlet hose #2 (3) on the radiator outlet pipe (2) and on the coolant intake pipe (5).
  3. Position the hose over the intake pipe and radiator outlet pipe flares.
  4. Secure the hose with the two hose clamps (1).
  5. Fill the radiator with approved coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
