This PI was superceded to add Die Electric grease as an option. Please discard PIC4918.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer may comment that when they put their top up they notice that the top material may become pinched in the area of the center of the door glass.

Apply a liberal coating of (Weather-strip Lubricant #3634770) or equivalent (Die Electric Grease #12345579) to the top of the rear weather-strip and the seal that is attached to the top material.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
