Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
2. Separate the rear adjustment link from the suspension knuckle. DO NOT loosen the adjustment jamb nut. Refer to Adjust Link Replacement.

Upper Shock Module Mounting Nut (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
47 N·m (35 lb ft)

Lower Shock Module Mounting Nut (Qty: 2)

Tighten
28 N·m (21 lb ft)

Tip
Remove the shock module toward the rear of the vehicle.
