Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the rear muffler assembly. Refer to Muffler Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 1933312  Size: MH
  4. Remove the stabilizer shaft links from the end of the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
  5. Important: If removing the stabilizer shaft to service other suspension components, it is not necessary to remove the stabilizer shaft insulators.

  6. Remove the stabilizer shaft brackets. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement .
  7. Important: The following service procedure is for vehicles equipped with the LNF (turbocharged 2.0 L) option only.

  8. Remove the right lower shock module bolts to the lower control arm. Refer to Shock, Shock Component, and/or Spring Replacement .
  9. Remove the rear stabilizer shaft from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1933312  Size: MH
  1. Position the stabilizer shaft in the vehicle.
  2. Install the stabilizer shaft brackets. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement .
  3. Install the stabilizer shaft links to the end of the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
  4. Important: The following service procedure is for vehicles equipped with the LNF (turbocharged 2.0 L) option only.

  5. Install the right lower shock module bolts to the lower control arm. Refer to Shock, Shock Component, and/or Spring Replacement .
  6. Install the rear muffler assembly. Refer to Muffler Replacement .
  7. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
