Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement or Intake Manifold Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)
