Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2006 🢒 Pursuit 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Manual Transaxle - MU3 🢒 Shift Cable Adjustment
  1. Set the parking brake.
  2. Remove the cup holder. Refer to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 651293 Size: SH
  3. Lift and unlock the shift cable retainers.

    4. Object Number: 1390787 Size: SH
  4. Push the shifter 4th gear lock clip. Move the shifter slightly in order to center the lock clip.
  5. Ensure that the transmission is in 4th gear.

    6. Object Number: 646529 Size: SH
  6. Press and unlock the shift cable retainers.

    7. Object Number: 1547395 Size: SH
  7. Engage the 4th gear locking tab on the shift control assembly housing.
  8. Ensure that the transmission is in 4th gear.
  9. Press down on the cable retainers.

    10. Object Number: 1547398 Size: SH
  10. Pull the shifter 4th gear lock clip to its original position.
  11. Install the cup holder. Refer to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .
