DETENT DOWNSHIFT MISS OR LATE SOME PARTS INCORRECT

SERVICE PACKAGE 8630983, WHICH CONTAINS VALVE BODY TO SPACER PLATE AND CASE TO SPACER PLATE GASKETS, WAS RELEASED IN ERROR FOR 1981 THM 200 AND 200C TRANSMISSIONS. USE OF THESE INCORRECT GASKETS WILL RESULT IN EITHER MISSING OR LATE DETENT DOWNSHIFTS. THE CORRECT VALVE BODY TO SPACER PLATE AND CASE TO SPACER PLATE GASKETS FOR 1981 THM 200 AND 200C TRANSMISSIONS ARE IN SERVICE PACKAGE 8633970 AND ARE IDENTIFIED BY A SQUARE NOTCH. SEE FIGURE 1.
