The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Ability to repair internal concerns within the rear axle, service and parts questions.

Recommendation/Instructions:

The rear drive module (RDM) in the above listed vehicles can only be serviced as an assembly. There are no service procedures or parts available to make any internal repairs. Some procedures are available for external repairs, such as seal replacement. There are not currently any remanufactured assemblies available for this application.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
