Power Door Lock Inoperative - keywords fob intermittent key leak lock RKE

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Door lock may be inoperative from either switch assembly but operate normally with the key fob.

Look for corrosion or water intrusion in splice S311, S319, S323 and/or S327 located under the carpet at the right hand sill plate. These splices may be subject to water intrusion caused by leaks and/or wet carpeting from snow or rain. Water leaks should be repaired to prevent future intrusion.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
