The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Customer may have concern of being unable to cancel the OnStar Turn by Turn route. Customers can request a route and the route will down load and directions will play normally, However, if customer tries voice commands using the white phone button to either cancel or update their route, there will be no response from the OnStar®
Recommendation/Instructions:
Insure the OnStar White Phone Button demo message has been cancelled, If the demo message plays upon a white phone button press, the Turn by Turn will not be able to accept commands. The demo message can be deleted by pressing white phone button and letting the demo message play until the end then the message. You will then be asked if you want to delete the message, Respond "yes" and the message will be deleted.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
