Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2007 🢒 Montana SV6 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.9L 🢒 Valve Rocker Arm Cover Installation - Left Side

    Object Number: 1821624 Size: SH
  1. Install NEW valve rocker arm cover grommets and use NEW valve rocker arm cover bolts if they are serviced with the grommet.

    2. Important: All gasket-mating surfaces need to be free of oil and foreign material. Use GM P/N 12346139 (Canadian P/N 10953463) or equivalent to clean surfaces.

  2. Install the valve rocker arm cover gasket into the valve rocker arm cover.

    3. Object Number: 190588 Size: SH
  3. Apply sealer GM P/N 12378521 (Canadian P/N 88901148) or equivalent to the surfaces where the cylinder head and intake manifold meet (1).
  4. Install the valve rocker arm cover.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the valve rocker arm cover bolts, if necessary.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the valve rocker arm cover bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install two NEW positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube O-rings.

    7. Object Number: 1821628 Size: SH
  7. Install the fresh air tube.
