The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
The Tech 2 Displays Asterisk For The Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Engineering is aware of this investigating this concern. If the vehicle does not have a DTC or exhibits a concern with the left front wheel speed sensor, DO NOT attempt to repair the asterisk displayed on the Tech 2 by replacing components. Engineering has been able to duplicate this by building the vehicle quickly on the Tech 2. When engineering slowed down, and waited for the screens and prompts, when building the vehicle with the Tech 2, no asterisk would be displayed.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
