Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

1. Start the engine.
2. Install a scan tool.
3. Using a scan tool sweep the speedometer gauge.

Does the speedometer move from 0 MPH to 110 MPH and then back to 0 MPH when you sweep the gauge up and down?

Go to Step 4

Important: Perform the set up procedure for the replacement IPC.

Replace the IPC. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement and the set up procedure?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
