Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 318302  Size: SH
  1. Use a small, flat-bladed tool in order to unsnap the CD player plate, if equipped.
  2. Remove the CD player, if equipped.

  3. Object Number: 318296  Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts/screws from the front floor console at the bracket.
  5. Remove the front floor console from the bracket.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 318296  Size: SH
  1. Align the front floor console tabs to the rear bracket.
  2. Align the front floor console tabs to the front bracket.
  3. Slide the front floor console tabs to the brackets.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the bolts/screws to the front floor console at the bracket.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts/screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  7. Install the CD player, if equipped.

  9. Install the CD player trim plate, if equipped.
