Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    2. Object Number: 315285 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the shock sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the shock sensor from the instrument panel knee bolster bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Important: Ensure that the shock sensor mounting surface is clean and free of all oils.

  1. Install the shock sensor to the instrument panel knee bolster bracket.
  2. Connect the shock sensor electrical connector.

    3. Important: Verify proper shock sensor operation.

  3. Install the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
