Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the (PSD) Power Sliding Door motor clutch assembly. Refer to Power Sliding Door Motor Clutch Replacement.
2. Disconnect the in-line connector for the optical sensor.

Tip
Squeeze the integral clips on the optical sensor in order to remove the sensor from the motor clutch housing.
