Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement

  2. Object Number: 318109  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts/screws from the IP switch bank.
  4. Remove the switch bank by pulling straight out from the IP.

  5. Object Number: 318110  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 318110  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Install the switch bank into the IP by pushing in on the switch bank .

  3. Object Number: 318109  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the bolts/screws to secure the switch bank to the instrument panel.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts/screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  6. Install the IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
