Correction

The sliding door is hard to open or close.

  1. Inspect the tracks for foreign objects, weld flash or metal burrs.
  2. Binding or misaligned sliding door.
  1. Clear foreign objects, clean or replace the track.
  2. Inspect track for pinched areas, weld flash and burrs.
  3. Refer to Roller Track Replacement - Sliding Door Upper for upper track replacement or Roller Track Replacement - Sliding Door Center for center track replacement.

  4. Align the sliding door.
  5. Refer to Rear Side Door Up/Down Adjustment for up/down adjustment, Rear Side Door Front Edge In/Out Adjustment for front edge in/out adjustment, or Rear Side Door Rear Edge In/Out Adjustment for rear edge in/out adjustment.

Windnoise or water leaks.

  1. Improper weather-strip position.
  2. Improper sliding door alignment.
  1. Reposition the weather-strip.
  2. Align the sliding door.
  3. Refer to Rear Side Door Up/Down Adjustment for up/down adjustment, Rear Side Door Front Edge In/Out Adjustment for front edge in/out adjustment, or Rear Side Door Rear Edge In/Out Adjustment for rear edge in/out adjustment.

Improper fit of the sliding door.

Improper fit, flushness or gaps.

Align the sliding door.

Refer to Rear Side Door Up/Down Adjustment for up/down adjustment, Rear Side Door Front Edge In/Out Adjustment for front edge in/out adjustment, or Rear Side Door Rear Edge In/Out Adjustment for rear edge in/out adjustment.

Sliding door jerks, clunks or bounces on operation.

  1. Inspect the tracks for foreign objects.
  2. Roller damage.
  3. Roller to track bind.
  4. Improperly adjusted cable tension.
  1. Clear foreign object, clean or replace the track. Refer to Roller Track Replacement - Sliding Door Upper for upper track replacement or Roller Track Replacement - Sliding Door Center for center track replacement.
  2. Replace the rollers.
  3. Align the door. Refer to Rear Side Door Up/Down Adjustment for up/down adjustment, Rear Side Door Front Edge In/Out Adjustment for front edge in/out adjustment, or Rear Side Door Rear Edge In/Out Adjustment for rear edge in/out adjustment.
  4. Adjust the cable tension.
  5. Refer to Rear Side Door Actuator Cable Tension Adjustment .
