For 1990-2009 cars only
- Pull out the adjuster lock by hand in order to disengage the cable adjuster lock.
- The adjuster internal spring removes much of the cable slack. Remove as much of the cable slack as possible, WITHOUT moving the throttle lever.
- Engage the cable adjuster lock by pushing in the adjuster lock.
